Renault Trucks brings its full range of expertise under one roof in Madrid
Following Italy and Poland, Spain now has its own “Maison Renault Trucks” to provide an optimal service for its customers. Officially opened on 10 September in Getafe, south of Madrid, the new facility combines the Spanish subsidiary’s headquarters with sales, after-sales, technical support, finance and training. By bringing these capabilities together, Renault Trucks aims to give customers faster, more complete support and help keep their vehicles on the road.
“Maison Renault Trucks” - Making life easier for customers
Buying and operating a truck involves far more than choosing the right vehicle. Financing, servicing, parts availability and technical support all play a role, as does having a network that can respond quickly and effectively throughout the vehicle’s life.
At the Madrid site, all this expertise is now available under one roof. Having specialists working side by side makes collaboration easier, speeds up decision-making and means customers get answers more quickly.
A simpler, more seamless customer experience
Every aspect of the site has been designed with the customer journey in mind. Easy access and parking, clearly signposted drop-off and return areas and modern, comfortable reception spaces all help make each visit as straightforward as possible.
A digitalised Truck Center to reduce vehicle downtime
The new Truck Center uses digital technology to cut intervention times. Its automated vertical parts warehouse – the first of its kind installed by Renault Trucks in Europe – makes better use of storage space while allowing parts to be located and retrieved more quickly. Combined with a digital fluid distribution system, it helps simplify maintenance work and maximise fleet availability.
From 2027, Renault Trucks plans to cut downtime further by adopting a pit-stop approach. Diagnostics will be completed before the truck reaches the workshop, with the parts required for the job prepared in advance.
With Spain’s heavy-duty transport sector shifting to electrification, the Spanish Maison Renault Trucks is fully equipped to service electric trucks. Fast-charging infrastructure is also available on site.
Training the network for new technologies and e-mobility
High-quality service also depends on highly skilled people. The new training centre can accommodate 1,700 trainees a year, with more than 150 courses covering everything from new technologies and diagnostics to electromobility.
More than 200 employees will be working at the site, which has been designed to encourage collaboration and promote wellbeing. Open-plan areas, a gym, relaxation spaces and 2,000 m2 of green space create a more pleasant working environment, with some outdoor areas also available to visiting drivers.

A new facility with a lower environmental footprint
The Madrid “Maison Renault Trucks” also reflects the transformation Renault Trucks is helping to drive across the transport sector.
Solar panels on the roof provide almost two-thirds of the complex’s daily energy requirements. The building uses aerothermal technology for both heating and cooling, harnessing heat from the outside air and eliminating the need for fossil fuels. Its energy performance also exceeds the requirements for an A-rated building.
The site is strategically positioned south of Getafe, close to the country’s main road corridors and the freight flows serving long-distance haulage and regional distribution towards southern Spain.
- Site area: 25,835 m2, including 2,000 m2 of gardens and green space.
- Workforce: over 200.
- Trainees: 1,700 each year.
- Over 150 training courses to strengthen the skills of the official network, particularly in new technologies, diagnostic systems and electromobility solutions.
- Investment: over 11 million euros.
- Energy performance: a 350-kW rooftop solar installation – three times the capacity required by regulations – covering 60% of the site’s daily energy consumption through on-site generation.
