Renault Trucks – 2025 Sustainability Report

Renault Trucks reaffirms its long-term strategy: with road freight transport accounting for 7% of CO₂ emissions in Europe, and over 60,000 trucks sold every year, the company has placed sustainability at the heart of its efforts to decarbonize transport. This ambition is thoroughly documented in the new Sustainability Report, structured to facilitate understanding and transparency.
The report highlights the many concrete initiatives implemented by Renault Trucks teams across all departments and functions to bring the company’s commitments to life. It outlines both the progress achieved and the challenges ahead, structured around three main pillars: environment, social, and governance.

This report clearly illustrates Renault Trucks’ ongoing transformation toward a more sustainable model! It is built on tangible actions and above all, on the commitment of each and every one of us. It’s a collective achievement, and a foundation for the work still ahead.

Environment

Renault Trucks is strengthening its commitment to cutting CO₂ emissions, with one clear objective:

making electric the new standard. Today, 90% of urban transport needs can already be met by Renault Trucks’ 100% electric solutions. At the same time, the company’s circular approach continues to expand, with initiatives to extend the lifespan of vehicles, parts and batteries, and reduce overall resource consumption.

Social

Decarbonising transport also means supporting the people making it happen

In 2024, nearly 600 employees received mental health training; the share of women in the workforce increased from 21% to 24% in just three years; and Renault Trucks reaffirmed its support for the World Food Programme by helping to establish a transport training centre in Accra, Ghana, to strengthen humanitarian and logistics capacity across West Africa.

Governance

Renault Trucks has implemented robust governance tools to ensure the application, monitoring and transparency of its sustainability commitments

The report details the company’s actions in areas such as fundamental rights, including prevention of harassment and sexism, anti-corruption measures, and cybersecurity efforts. It also presents the “responsible sales” framework that assesses certain contracts for risk before signing.
