EcoVadis Platinum 2026: recognizing our sustainable transformation

Since August 2026, Renault Trucks has held the EcoVadis Platinum 2026 medal, placing the company in the top 1% of all assessed companies.

This recognition, awarded by an independent organization, confirms the strength and consistency of our sustainability approach and reflects the progress we have made year after year.

EcoVadis in short

EcoVadis is the global reference for assessing the sustainability performance of companies. It evaluates policies, actions, and results across four specific categories (Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement) and awards an overall score, a score for each of the four themes, and a medal (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum).

Our results

2026 Renault Trucks' EcoVadis platinum results

Significant progress, year after year

Beyond the scores, the Platinum medal confirms, above all, the transformation underway at Renault Trucks and the commitment of the entire company to more sustainable and more responsible transport.

This is demonstrated by the continuous and significant year-on-year progress: over the past 7 years, our overall score has jumped by 25 points (from 63/100 in 2019 to 88/100 in 2026).

Environment, the key priority for Renault Trucks

Deeply committed to environmental issues, Renault Trucks has achieved the maximum score of 100/100 in the Environment category for the 5th consecutive year, confirming the strength and consistency of our environmental performance.

Concrete actions across each of the four themes

The EcoVadis Platinum medal rewards tangible actions and progress made by Renault Trucks, such as:

  • Environment: 100% of our facilities are ISO 14001 certified. Between 2019 and 2025, we reduced CO₂ emissions from our operations (Scopes 1 & 2) by 30.3% and our water consumption by 56%. For example, the 22 MWp photovoltaic shade structures in Bourg-en-Bresse and the internal heating system in Lyon contribute to this path. Furthermore, 89% of our operational waste is recycled or reused.
  • Labor & Human Rights: prevention is moving forward with the Active Care program (7,112 employees trained in HSE, including 939 in mental health first aid). Engagement indicators are improving (Pulse: engagement 78%; health and safety 77%).
  • Ethics: we reinforce business integrity through a secure whistleblower channel, automated partner screening (EASE), and a “responsible sales” process (120 sensitive projects reviewed since 2024, of which 3 were rejected due to identified risks).
  • Sustainable Procurement: our due diligence covers the entire supply chain, with 93% of suppliers assessed through Drive Sustainability SAQ, 254 on-site audits in 2025, and materials traceability supported by the Responsible Minerals Initiative.

A medal that rewards a whole collective

This EcoVadis Platinum certification is, above all, the result of a collective effort: Renault Trucks’ 10,000 employees are all working, each in their own role, toward more sustainable and responsible transport. To give just a few examples:  :

  • Procurement teams incorporate sustainability requirements into contracts, evaluate and audit suppliers to secure the value chain,
  • R&D and Engineering eco-design our vehicles, industrialise e-mobility and improve efficiency,
  • Manufacturing and remanufacturing teams extend the service life of trucks and parts,
  • Network technicians and the 24/7 assistance teams guarantee daily availability and safety,
  • HSE and People & Culture teams promote prevention and training,
  • Legal & Compliance functions reinforce integrity and compliance with the rules.

This medal therefore recognises a shared level of commitment, embodied on the ground by all our business lines.
